After the debate concluded, the singer announced that she made the endorsement after learning about a fake AI endorsement of Trump circulating in her name. Swift emphasized that she wanted to be transparent about her political stance and noted that Harris represents the kind of leadership the country needs. According to TMZ, the pop singer described Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader” who fights for the rights and causes that Swift believes need a “warrior to champion them.” She also extended her support to Tim Waltz, who she applauded for his support of LBGTQ rights, IVF access, and a woman’s right to make decisions about her body.
“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early.
