How John Gold Grew His Music Fanbase with Hypeddit

Most musicians and bands would agree that they venture into music because they are passionate about the creation of the tracks they create. However, it’s fair to say that disappointment can come easily for creatives, especially when they notice that their songs are not performing as well as others might be. But John Gold knows how to change all this as an independent artist.

In the ‘90s, Gold was signed to various record labels, navigating the music scene as a rising artist. However, the arrival of digital platforms like Napster changed the landscape overnight, and Gold, like many others, lost his recording deals. Suddenly, he found himself an independent artist, forced to take on the challenge of self-promotion—a task previously managed by big labels with vast marketing budgets.

Determined to continue his musical journey, Gold experimented with new ways to connect with fans directly. As he found innovative approaches to grow his audience, other artists took notice and wanted to replicate his methods. This led him to develop software that could help other independent musicians. Thus, Hypeddit was born — a platform created by musicians for musicians.

Hypeddit helps bands and musicians grow their audiences and get more real fans for their music, no matter what genre it happens to be. Hypeddit’s mission is to make it easy and fun for artists to become successful with their music, as well as to get more listeners on Spotify. It works by utilizing the powers of artificial intelligence and other game-changing features such as download gates, fan promotions, and custom music tabs on social media sites to help spread the word about your music, all while connecting you to real people who might become fans of your work.

With Hypeddit, you can stop relying on playlist promotions on streaming services such as Spotify to do the work for you. By utilizing music ads on Instagram and Facebook through Hypeddit’s creation software, fans click on the advertisements to go to your music and artist profile specifically. This, according to Gold, leads to natural, honest, and organic engagement, unlike the passive listening that often occurs when your music pops up on streaming services to be liked and appreciated but potentially forgotten.

Gold’s success with his own creation demonstrates how effective it can be. By using Hypeddit’s software and laser-targeted approach, he has been able to generate over 11 million streams on Spotify. That isn’t all he’s done, though. With Hypeddit, he’s been able to help over 10,000 artists and bands grow their music to over 100 million streams on Spotify.

“The truth is I’m not a hit writer,” Gold writes. “I’m in a totally unpopular niche genre: ‘90s piano house music.”

“The biggest challenge for me was to develop new and effective ways to get independent music heard online,” Gold writes. “Big record labels have huge promotion budgets. But independent music artists don’t.”

With Hypeddit, John Gold has perfected a way to get a song and artists more streams, listeners, and fans, all by using Hypeddit’s suite of tools that have been shown to have lasting engagement. By utilizing Hypeddit’s services, you can not only share and promote your music but also learn how the top artists promote theirs, all while doing the same for yourself. So, if you’re an artist wanting to share your music with the world, Hypeddit provides a unique way of engaging with new listeners and building a fanbase—just as Gold did for himself and many others.
