Jennifer Pedranti reveals that her ex has not made payments on their divorce settlement and child support. Plus, talks RHOC friendships & more.
RHOC star Jennifer Pedranti recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. During the interview, Jennifer Pedranti revealed that her ex has not made payments on their divorce settlement and child support.
In July, Jennifer Pedranti was awarded a six-figure lump sum in her divorce settlement from her ex-husband, William Pedranti.
According to court documents, Jennifer and William will share joint legal and physical custody of their four minor children: Dawson, Greyson, Everleigh, and Dominic.
The children will continue to reside with the 47-year-old Bravo star. William will pay Jennifer $4,674 per month in child support for the four children.
She will also receive $1,735 a month in spousal support from William but will terminate if and when she remarries. The reality TV star is currently engaged to her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, who proposed in April.
Jennifer Pedranti was also awarded two bank accounts, a retirement account, and all interest in her company, Devi Rebel Yoga. William also agreed to pay the RHOC star a one-time lump sum of $267,811 “in order to equalize the divison of the community assets and debts.”
However, according to the RHOC star, she has yet to see a penny from her ex-husband.
“I know everything in my divorce is finalized. Unfortunately, my ex is still in a spot, and so everything when it comes to the lot of the expenses is on me and if I didn’t have the Housewives job, you know, I really don’t know where I would be, so I’m just grateful that I do have that,” the RHOC star explained.
“Unfortunately, he has not been able to make those payments. You know, I don’t, this is again, Jeff, it’s a tough spot because I wish he and I could communicate. It’s a point of contention for Ryan and I because Ryan’s like, “Why do you not hold his ass to the fire?” He’s the dad of my kids, so there’s like a line of trying to be sympathetic to it. The kids and I do have a home. I do now,” she continued.
Host Jeff Lewis was shocked by this news, asking, “Oh my god, so what’s the point of settling all this if he’s not honoring his commitment?”
“And those are decisions I’m going to have to come to something of what’s going to happen. We have communicated a little bit. He has said like, “I’m in a spot. I need a little bit of time.” Thank god we have Ryan’s home. Thank god I have the little income that I have, but you know, you’re right. You get to a point where it’s like, “Okay, well what is your plan?” and that’s the other thing. It’s like, just communicate with me. Tell me what the hell’s going on. What is going on? Maybe I can float the kids and I a little bit longer. Maybe I’m like, “Nope, I don’t agree with this anymore. It’s time to, you know, pay what you owe.” The lack of communication is what makes it so hard,” the RHOC star replied.
When asked if her ex-husband is working and why he’s withholding money from her and their kids, Jennifer said, “He is in South County as well, and the kids are like, “Dad is working. Dad’s always on a call. Dad’s always,” it’s always like, “Dad is working,” because I’ll ask, “How’s your dad?” You know, “How does your dad seem?” because they do see their dad on Tuesday and Thursday nights and every other weekend. You know, his life is very much simplified now, but that’s his business, but I’m not allowed to ask.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer Pedranti recently did a Q&A with Bravo fans on Instagram, during which she opened up about friendships within the RHOC cast.
The 47-year-old explained that she doesn’t subscribe to the “mean girl BS” some of her co-stars enjoy engaging in. S
“I don’t subscribe to mean girl BS. I believe in true freindships. I know every friendship can go through rough patches, but blow torching peopel and going low is not my jam. I want to be inspired by the women in my life. Not sun over by them, ” Jennifer said in response to a fan who said she was doing an “amazing job” on RHOC.
Jennifer then revealed which of her RHOC co-stars she is closest to now.
“I am truly grateful to work with such incredible women. I talk to Katie, Gina, Alexis, and Shannon the most. Heather, Shannon, and I just had lunch and had the best time. Katie and Alexis made the most time to get together. Gina is super busy but I saw her and we laughed our faces off, we both said we need to make more time [for each other.],” she explained.
She continued, “Emily and I haven’t spent much time together, and I understand I am not everyone’s cup of tea.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
