Disney Finds Next Big Fantasy Franchise Following Huge Bidding War

Lionsgate has released a new trailer for the fun looking vampire dark comedy horror film The Radleys. The film stars Damian Lewis (Billions) and Kelly Macdonald (No Country For Old Men), and it’s about a seemingly average suburban family with a juicy secret… They are vampires.

“In the light of day, the Radleys might seem normal, but they can only abstain from their natural cravings for so long until the bloody truth bubbles to the surface and turns their quiet country life upside down.”

The synopsis reads: “As if being a teenager wasn’t bad enough, bloodthirsty instincts take over the teens of the family revealing the terrifying truth and opening the door for an extended family member to re-enter and upend The Radleys’ once perfect slice of suburbia life.”

The project also stars Shaun Parkes, Harry Baxendale, Bo Bragason, and Sophia Di Martino.

The film is directed by Euros Lyn (The Library Suicides, Dream Horse, Doctor Who), from a screenplay written by Talitha Stevenson, and developed by Jo Brand. The story is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Matt Haig.

The Radleys will be released on October 4th,
