Just days after getting on his podcast co-host Chad “Ocho Cinco Johnson about his lack of professionalism, karma did a U-Turn and came for Shannon Sharpe. And hes already making the best out of it.
Yesterday afternoon, the ESPN host went Live on his Instagram while engaging in some….mid day sexcapades. For over 5 whole minutes, his phone was pointed to the floor while loud and audible grunts, moans, huffing and puffing, screams, bed movement and “That’s my Michelle” type ish went down. It may be erased from Shannon’s account, but nothing is erased from the internets:
Fans who tuned in thinking Unc had gone Live to talk about any of the latest sports drama of the day got an earful and were quite confused. Especially because, as Shannon claims, he’s never gone Live before and doesn’t even know how it works. Then the jokes took over the internet and his comment section.
Initially, after wrapping up his mid-day pipe game and realized what just happened on his Live unbeknownst to him, Shannon claimed he had been hacked.
But nobody was working as vigorously as the internet streets getting off their jokes:
Folks have also started bringing up the double standards. Because not only do we ALL know had this been a woman ESPN employee that she would have been fired by end of business day, but Paul Pierce was fired for arguably less:
It does seem like ESPN is sticking beside him, because TMZ reports the network says him being away from “First Take” this morning was solely due to Thursdays and Fridays being his off days. ESPN says they won’t be disciplining their star over the sex stream and he’ll be back at his post on Monday.
As for the Club Shay Shay host, he finally owned up to this NOT being a “hacked” situation. He and Ocho Cinco kicked off an impromptu episode of their “Nightcap” podcast so that Shannon could explain himself.
Shannon said he always tries to remain professional, even though he was in the privacy of his own home. But, he says, he is very disappointed in himself.
Well, clearly not too disappointed. Because he just dropped new merch: NIGHTCLAP t-shirts.
