Princess Love is clearing the air after Ray J filmed himself speaking to their kids following an alleged incident between the estranged former couple. Currently, they co-parent two little ones: a daughter named Melody and a son named Epik.

In footage recorded by Live Bitez, Ray reassures four-year-old Epik that there’s still mutual love between him and Princess. The live stream primarily shows the ceiling in a room inside Princess Love’s home and a short look at Epik. In it, the father questions his son’s recollection of the alleged incident, which he hints was a verbal disagreement.
“I just want to make sure, are you good? Dada never did nothing to anybody right? Mama never did nothing to me, Dada didn’t do nothing to mama right? Everything’s safe,” Ray J said as one of their kids responds to verbal agreeance sounds.
Ray also asked Epik to confirm that neither he nor Princess Love got physical with each other. “We’re just making a movie; we’re just playing,” the singer said. Epik responded by asking to go to Ray’s home, and the dad instructed him to grab a sweater so they could leave. As Epik begins putting on his sweater, six-year-old Melody is heard in the background asking Ray if he’s leaving. When Ray J responded that he had to, Melody’s voice cracked, and she seemingly started crying.
“Everything’s okay. I just wanna make sure everything is safe. I love your mom, your mom loves me,” Ray responded to Melody.
He continued, telling the kids that he wanted to make sure everything was documented and reassuring them that the argument was a “pretend thing.” Watch what else he said by swiping below.
“Just ’cause someone has a disagreement, it doesn’t mean anything. Calling the police over a disagreement is loud, and I’m not with that. Okay? I love you. Your mom loves you. Did you check on your mom?”
One of the kids later suggested that Ray J give Princess Love a hug to better the situation, but he expressed doubt that Princess would want it. He then tried to get the kids to go ask Princess about the hug, but one of the kids shared that Princess asked to be left alone. In response, Ray J reassured the child that Princess was still “a great mom” and was “just mad.” One of the kids then re-entered the space and told their dad that Princess Love would take his hug.
Princess Love Reacts To Ray J Sharing Footage Featuring Their Kids
After clips of Ray J’s livestream went viral, Princess Love addressed the situation on her Instagram Stories. She began by saying that she’d only comment on the matter once.
“I’ve been trying my best to be the bigger person and just walk away peacefully. But what you’re not going to do is traumatize, manipulate, and gaslight my kids when you can’t do it to me anymore. I’ll save my videos for the judge,” Princess wrote.
As previously reported, in February, Love shared that she and Ray J are, once again, headed towards divorce. In a statement, the mother of two revealed that the divorce was a mutual decision after “much reflection, discussion and counseling.” The following month, a portion of Ray J’s interview on ‘The Breakfast Club’ went viral, particularly the part about sacrificing his “happiness” for their kids.
“I guess happiness is important, but for me, if my kids are happy, then I don’t care about happiness. And a lot of people, ‘Hey, say you have to be happy for your kids,’ and yeah, for sure, and I feel like I have the power in my hands now. But at the same time, the fact that we made the vow and I’m 100% I could not be happy and just ride it for the kids and figure out which years we gon’ have that’s gon be great and which arent. So, I’m willing to not be happy to be around my kids every day,” Ray J said at the time.
Soon after the interview aired, Princess Love was spotted getting cozy with actor John Boyega at a karaoke night. While they didn’t swap saliva on camera, the video showed Love and Boyega joyfully sharing a mic.
The following month, Ray responded to his estranged wife’s filing by requesting joint legal and physical custody of Melody and Epik. He also sought the split of their assets and that spousal support determination be delayed.
Also in April, Ray raised speculations about a possible romance with Sukihana after gifting her luxury items. However, fans quickly pointed to Suki’s new show that was supposed to air on J’s network Tronix.
Most recently, he accused Erica Mena of “being racist again” and shared a video of her calling him the n-word.
