Socialites, get all the way into this! Pope Francis recently shared his thoughts on presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Instead of endorsing one candidate outright, he made it clear that he is not supportive of either.
The Pope stressed that American voters should vote with their consciences as he criticized Trump’s plan to deport millions of immigrants and Vice President Kamala Harris for her stance on supporting abortion rights.
“In political morality, in general, they say that if you don’t vote, it’s not good; it’s bad. You have to vote, and you have to choose the lesser evil,” he began. “What is the lesser evil? That woman, or that man?” he continued, referring to Vice President Kamala Harris and her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump. “I don’t know. Each one, in his or her conscience, must think and do this.”
Many are aware that Pope Francis has consistently criticized abortion, which is forbidden by Catholic teaching. He has also previously condemned Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric. During the 2016 election, he famously stated that Trump was “not Christian” in his views.

On Friday, Francis expressed that the policies of both candidates are “against life.” He remarked, “Whether it is the one who is chasing away migrants, or the one who kills children, both are against life.”
The Pope’s comments come just days after both candidates discussed these topics and more during the presidential debate. While many declared Harris as the clear winner, Trump still believes he came out on top.
Meanwhile, the Republican presidential nominee stated on Thursday that there will not be another debate against his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris. He asserted, “When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, ‘I WANT A REMATCH.’ Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a second debate. She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our Country, with millions of criminals and mentally deranged people pouring into the USA, totally unchecked and unvetted, and with inflation bankrupting our Middle Class. Everyone knows this, along with all the other problems caused by Kamala and Joe. It was discussed in great detail during the First Debate with Joe and the Second Debate with Comrade Harris. She was a no-show at the Fox Debate and refused to do NBC and CBS. KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE DURING THE LAST ALMOST FOUR YEARS. THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”
The presidential election is set to take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
