The statue, which has become a fan destination, holds special meaning for the Jacksons, as Michael’s legendary “HIStory” tour made a stop in Munich in 1997. 

The visit was a chance for Tito, a founding member of The Jackson 5, to reflect on the shared legacy he and his brothers built alongside Michael.

The slideshow began with nostalgic throwbacks of Tito during his Jackson 5 days and moved into more intimate moments, showing the star bonding with his young sons. 

One particularly touching image featured Tito on stage with his sons’ band, 3T, where he had served as their manager. The final image in the post was a fitting tribute: Tito’s iconic black bowler hat and shades, symbols of his timeless style and impact on the music world.

Alongside the images, his sons shared a deeply emotional message, remembering their father not only as a musical legend but as a loving and devoted parent.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us. We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken,” the message began. The tribute went on to celebrate Tito’s many roles beyond his legendary status in The Jackson 5.

“Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being. Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the legendary Jackson 5. Some may know him as ‘Coach Tito’ or some know him as ‘Poppa T,'” the post read.
