RHOC alum David Beador accuses his wife, Lesley Beador, of extortion after she obtained a domestic violence restraining order.
David Beador is firing back at his wife Lesley Beador‘s recent request for a restraining order following an alleged domesteic violence incident between the two.
According to the former RHOC husband, this whole incident was a scheme concocted by Lesley Beador and her ex-husband, Eriks Pukke, to extort money from him and get a “rise” out of him.
“I believe this was a planned event to get a rise out of me and/or seek this order, as at that point, Lesley already advised me she would be filing for divorce. This is pure extortion and it is again what she is doing in this attempt. She is upset because I cancelled her credit card with unlimited spending. I am not required to sustain her lifestyle,” David Beador alleged in his court filing, per In Touch.
In his filing, David also said that his and Lesley’s marriage issues began in 2022. He noted that he previously filed for divorce three times, even though each filing was eventually dismissed.
As previously reported, Lesley Beador filed a domestic violence restraining order on Tuesday, September 10, against David Beador.
Lesley claims that her breaking point with David occurred when her ex-husband, Eriks Pukke, came to her and David’s Newport Beach home to pick up their two children last Monday. David allegedly shouted “all kinds of obscenities at Eriks while he waited in his car with the window up.”
She explained, “It was very scary. I recorded this whole incident and will provide the videos to the court. All my children are terrified by David’s behavior.”
Lesley also accused David of sending her 59 “harassing texts” accusing her of cheating on him with Eriks.
The 41-year-old added, “[David] truly needs help. He gets in an obsessive mania state…I never know when [David’s] next meltdown will be or how long they will last. These meltdowns…are nonstop, even when he is working and they cause me to live in fear and to worry about the effect on the children.”
In her court filing, Lesley requested that the 59-year-old former RHOC husband be ordered to stay 100 years away from her and her three children, including the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Anna Love Beador.
She also asked that David Beador continue paying the mortgage and ultimates on their marital home as well as her cell phone bill and the monthly lease on her Mercedes Benz. Lesley also demands exclusive access to their Newport Beach, California, home for her and her children.
Lesley explained, “I have no source of income from employment. Mr. Beador controls all the income and monies in our marriage. Mr. Beador has cut off all access to my credit cards.”
