Shannon Beador’s Ex Husband Puts Criminal Case Behind Him

Shannon Beador’s ex-husband, David Beador, now has one less court case to worry about, as his temporary restraining order drama continues amid his divorce.

The entrepreneur’s criminal charges for careless driving and exceeding the set speed limit were yanked off at a court hearing.

The Orange County District Attorney charged David Beador after he was pulled over by Newport Beach Police on February 4 while cruising in his 2022 Porsche 911.

The construction expert was charged with one misdemeanor count of reckless driving and an infraction for unlawfully driving his vehicle at a speed higher than 100 miles per hour.

His estranged wife’s attorney, Michael Fell, represented him and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Although it took seven months, David finally emerged as a free man.

David’s case was similar to his ex’s arrest, who was arrested for driving under the influence a few months before his encounter with the police. The Bravo star was arrested in September 2023 after she crashed her car into a private property in Newport Beach, California.

Shannon was later sentenced to 36 months of informal probation in November 2023. She was also ordered to complete a nine-month alcohol education class, offset a series of fines and fees, and complete community service.

According to In Touch, the “RHOC” star then entered a plea of no contest to the one count of DUI and one count of driving with a BAC higher than .08 percent. The judge dismissed the additional charge of property damage.

Sadly, David’s marriage did not make his victory list, as his estranged wife filed for divorce and cited September 8 as the official separation date.

The Blast reported that the mother-of-three stated irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and requested that her maiden name be restored to Cook.

In her petition, Lesley asked the court to grant her spousal support and terminate David’s right to request any from her. She also demanded primary legal and physical custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Anna Love Beador, who they welcomed in 2021, with visitation from David.

On their shared property, Lesley declared that she had no idea of the “full extent, nature, and location” of any community property assets at the time of her divorce filing.

Lesley also demanded that the construction guru pay off all legal and attorney fees during the divorce proceedings.

Lesley’s requests were countered by David, who asked the court to order joint legal and physical custody of their child and demanded the enforcement of their prenuptial agreement in the case.

According to David, the prenup makes a provision of $10,000 per month to Lesley. He added that he would pay the spousal support for half of the duration of their marriage, according to the content of the prenup.

He noted that their separation date is September 17, which is against Lesley’s indicated date. David also disclosed that their prenup had already sorted their assets and debts, and he argued that both parties should be responsible for sorting the legal fees as they slug it out in the courts.

The social media influencer did not just crash David’s world with her divorce filing; her most recent move was heralded by a temporary restraining order to stop David from contacting her.

Lesley claimed the CEO had been verbally abusive and thus created an unhealthy and tense environment for her and her three children, including two from her previous relationship with a man known as Eriks.

She stated that David’s attitude on September 9 when Eriks came to collect their two children prompted a request for the restraining order.

Lesley noted that all the children were “present and witnessed David’s behavior toward Erik,” adding that it was very scary. She declared that she had video evidence from the day of the incident to back up her claim.

Lesley also expressed her concerns over David’s erratic behavior. In her words, his random meltdowns, “when they occur, are nonstop, even when he is working.”

She disclosed that his episodes have caused her to “live in fear and to worry about the effect on the children.” Just after the incident with Eriks, Lesley shared that she received about 59 messages from David harassing her about having sex with her children’s father. Lesley shared:

“And was accusing me of all kinds of things that could never be possible. David truly needs help. He gets in an obsessive mania state.” 

The construction expert was ordered to stay 100 yards away from Lesley, her children, and their dogs through the duration of the temporary restraining order.

Another hearing, scheduled for October 3, will decide whether the restraining order should be made permanent or continued as a temporary order.
