Netflix has released a new teaser trailer for Squid Game Season 2, and it offers a little glimpse at the madness that awaits. I also include a delightful poster for you to check out as well.

Hwang Dong-hyuk returned to write, direct, and executive produce Season 2. When previously talking about what he envisioned for Season 2, he said, “I have a very high-level picture in my mind.”

He also said: “And now, Gi-hun returns. The Front Man returns. Season 2 is coming. The man in the suit with ddakji might be back. You’ll also be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su. Join us once more for a whole new round.”

In Season 1, “a mysterious invitation to join the game is sent to people at risk who are in dire need of money. 456 participants from all walks of life are locked into a secret location where they play games in order to win 45.6 billion won. Every game is a Korean traditional children’s game, such as Red Light and Green Light, but the consequence of losing is death. Who will be the winner, and what is the purpose behind this game?”

Returning to the series are Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo, as well as franchise newcomers Yim Si-Wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Park Sung-Hoon, and Yang Dong-Geun.

The new additions to the cast include Park Gyu-young (Sweet Home), Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim (Move to Heaven), Lee David (The Fortress and Svaha: The Sixth Finger), Lee Jin-uk (Miss Granny and Sweet Home), Choi Seung-hyun (Tazza: The Hidden Card and Commitment), Roh Jae-won (Missing Yoon and Ditto), and Won Ji-an (D.P.).

Check out the teaser below, and get ready to watch Season 2 of Squid Game on Netflix on December 26th.
