Gunna seems to have reacted to his verse disappearing from Future‘s new track “Told My.”

The song, released on Future’s new Mixtape Pluto, is a solo number on the album. But a version of the song that leaked in March 2023 had a verse from Gunna — check it out here.

On Friday (September 20), the day the project dropped, Gunna posted a message to his Instagram story that many fans took to be a reference to the removed verse.

“Its not Personal it’s just business,” he wrote. Check it out below.

Gunna wasn’t the only feature fakeout on Mixtape Pluto, which vocally is an entirely solo project. Travis Scott appeared in a teaser video for the song “South of France,” and shared the clip on his social media. However, he is missing from the track as it appears on the album.

Future finally dropped Mixtape Pluto followings months of teasers. It’s the Atlanta rap legend’s first solo mixtape in eight years after his storied run in the mid 2010s.

The project is also his third full-length release of 2024 following We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, both of which were joint efforts with Metro Boomin.

Future dedicatedMixtape Pluto to his late mentor and relative Rico Wade.

“My cousin never died in my eyes.. Rico Wade u already know what u mean to me!” Hendrix wrote on X as the mixtape landed on streaming services. “I Thank the most high for blessin me with the greatest human being that it could Ever b! Billionaire status buz [watch] over us.”

Wade, who was one-third of the legendary production team Organized Noize and best known for his work with OutKast, Goodie Mob and other members of Atlanta’s Dungeon Family collective, passed away earlier this year at the age of 52.

The tape features the Dungeon Family house with glowing lights the color of purple drank on the cover.

Future came into Hip Hop as a second generation member of the Dungeon Family.

Rico Wade’s mother lived at the house pictured on Mixtape Pluto‘s cover, and groups like OutKast and Goodie Mob recorded some of their earliest work in a studio (dubbed “The Dungeon”) in its basement.
