Justin Bieber Reportedly Focusing On ‘Being A Great Dad’ After Diddy’s Arrest

Since Diddy’s September 16 arrest in New York, several unearthed videos of him and a teenage Justin have resurfaced, sparking concern for the singer.

The arrest incident comes after Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey, announced the birth of their son, Jack Blues, last month.

According to People Magazine, a source disclosed that the “Sorry” hitmaker is shifting his attention to his family life and is prioritizing his roles as a devoted husband to Hailey and father to their young son Blues.

Justin’s name has been mentioned multiple times online in conversations about Diddy’s recent arrest, as the pair were known to have a good working relationship.

“He’s aware of Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations,” the source told the news outlet of Justin. “It’s not anything that he wants to focus on, though.”

The insider went on to add that Justin has instead “been in a happy bubble since baby Jack was born” and that the “Peaches” singer “wants to focus on being a great dad and husband.”

Meanwhile, another source recently told the news outlet that Justin and Hailey are “both overjoyed” to be parents for the first time, adding that the “baby is such a miracle” and that “the pregnancy was something that they very much wished and prayed for.”

“The day they found out that Hailey was pregnant was the best ever for Justin. He was over the moon with excitement. It was a big celebration for them,” they said, noting that “Justin’s already a great dad.”

An insider who spoke to the Daily Mail revealed that Justin’s lack of comments on the matter has been intentional, and he doesn’t plan to weigh in at any point.

“Justin hasn’t been responding on this since the home raids. He’s not going to,” the source shared.

According to the insider, if Justin could turn back time, a collaboration with Diddy on his latest album would have been unlikely. He reportedly regrets working with the embattled music mogul in light of the recent allegations.

The insider said, “He was featured on Diddy’s most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it.”

Since Diddy’s arrest, old footage of the disgraced rapper has gone viral and caused quite a stir online.

In these videos, Diddy made questionable remarks and even shared tips, in one clip, about having “locks on the doors” at his parties to prevent women from leaving.

In a video making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter)m, Diddy can be seen “hanging out” with a then-15-year-old Justin and saying they “can’t really disclose” what they were doing at the time.

“I have been given custody of him. He’s signed to Usher, and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album,” Diddy said of Justin. “I don’t have legal guardianship of him [Justin], but for the next 48 hours, he’s with me, and we’re gonna go full crazy.

Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16, at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City following a grand jury indictment. He has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

A 14-page indictment that was later released by the authorities revealed that Diddy is accused of “creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

He was also accused of using his celebrity status to coerce women to partake in drug-fuelled orgies known as “freak offs.”

The court documents showed that the authorities discovered and seized three AR-15 rifles and 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant when a raid was carried out in his Miami and Los Angeles homes back in March.

The music mogul maintained his innocence on all charges and filed a bail petition, but that request was declined twice last week, with the judge pointing out that he poses a flight risk.

According to TMZ, Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson argued that Diddy wasn’t to be left alone and said that he posed a threat to the case, in the possibility that he’d contact witnesses linked to the case and coerce them to do his bidding.

Johnson referenced the guns that were discovered in Diddy’s Miami and L.A. homes, noting that it wasn’t about security but “dangerousness.” She said that Diddy should be denied bail because he has allegedly contacted people involved in the case, including singer Kalenna Harper, who he called about 128 times.

Upon hearing arguments from both sides, U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter said he was turning down the request for bail because “the government has proven the defendant is a danger.”
