Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover are considered royalty when it comes to Bravo couples. She stars on Summer House, and he’s on Southern Charm, but the two have appeared on each other’s shows. However, the fandom wants to know when they’ll take the next steps in their relationship despite them both seeming to be a bit hesitant. Now, Paige is opening up and saying why she thinks Craig cares about her more than she does him. Plus, she opens up about the idea of kids and why she’s not ready.
Both Craig and Paige are busy. She is currently filming season 9 of Summer House, and fans are expecting more information on Southern Charm any day now. However, everyone still wants to know why he hasn’t popped the question to her yet.
According to Heavy, Paige recently went on the Lady Gang podcast and opened up about how Craig likes her more than she likes him because of all the relationship drama she went through in the past.
She starts by saying, “I sometimes feel myself being, like, too cold. He likes me so much more than I like him, but it’s just [because] I’ve lived in New York City for ten years. Like, that just is a harder city. Like, I’ve dated the worst people ever. So I feel like I kind of taught myself how to, like, self-soothe.”
The Summer House star also says Craig is “a little bit more sensitive” and says he’s “a hopeless romantic.“ She explained that his Southern upbringing might be part of the reason for the difference in the two love birds. However, Craig has previously said that he can’t wait on her forever.
She goes on to share about the last time she got serious with a guy. She says, “Last time a boyfriend wanted to propose to me, I broke out into hives, and I ran away.“
According to Bravo, Paige also opened up about why she’s not ready for kids. One of the biggest reasons is that she wants to enjoy her career right now without having to balance it with motherhood.
She says, “When [women] do get married and have babies, people look at you different and they treat you different. I didn’t want to be doing Giggly Squad, putting out a book, going on tour, and everyone would be like, ‘So you’re planning your wedding. Like, where are you doing it?‘ I didn’t work this long just to, like, give it to a guy, basically.“
Paige goes on to explain that she does want kids someday. She says, “I’ve always known I wanna have kids. That is definitely a priority in my life. I also know myself. I know the moment I give birth to that first child, you’ll never see me again. That’s it. I’m home. I’m in the bed.”
She continues, “Like, I can’t wait for that. And so I think partly that’s why I am like, I don’t wanna do that right now. Like, I wanna work, enjoy my career, work really hard. Because I know that next part of my life is coming, and when it comes, I wanna be ready for it, and I wanna be so immersed in it.”
Paige also reminds listeners that she and Craig haven’t been dating that long. However, it’s actually only been a few years that they’ve been together.
