Over the weekend, Jamie Foxx witnessed his eldest daughter start a new chapter in her life. Corinne Foxx wed her finacé Joe Hooten in a beautiful ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 21. Daddy Foxx was present and even walked his 30-year-old down the aisle toward her now-husband!

Wedding Recap Of Jamie Foxx’s Daughter
Actress Garcelle Beauvais was also present at the love ceremony and shared a heartwarming caption with her recap clips on Sunday. She has since deleted the post, but PEOPLE reports that Garcelle labeled Corinne and Joe Hooten’s love and respect for each other “palpable.” Additionally, the actress wrote that the bride looked “stunning.”
The Shade Room obtained and reposted some of Garcelle’s footage, which shows Corinne Foxx wearing a white, off-the-shoulder mini gown with a long train and tulle veil dragging behind her. Meanwhile, Jamie—who was dressed in a black tuxedo—appears to be taking deep breaths while walking his smiling daughter down the aisle.

PEOPLE reports that the eldest Foxx daughter and her hubby met in 2018, and he proposed about five years later. Corinne announced the engagement in an Instagram post on Dec. 17, 2023 that featured photos of the future husband and wife and a close-up of her large, square-shaped diamond. “From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever,” she wrote in the caption.
Jamie showed public support for his daughter’s engagement from the start. One day, after announcing her fiancé on social media, Daddy Foxx took to the same platform with a heartfelt message for the couple.
“@corinnefoxx @joe.hooten you are a perfect example of what being in love is…. You care about each others life mental and physical… and you have each other’s back… congratulations on your engagement… @joe.hooten when you whispered to me a while back that you were gonna ask my baby girl to marry you I had tears of joy in my soul… and @corinnefoxx you have… and have always had a special place in my heart… you deserve love abundantly… so again congratulations you too… can’t wait to walk you down that isle.. @corinnefoxx you have a great soul in @joe.hooten I LOVE YOU BOTH DEARLY… I have my tissues ready.”
