RHONJ star Danielle Cabral seems to have at least mended one of the fractured relationships in her life. Get all the tea on her recent reunion with her estranged father.
According to a new Instagram post, Danielle Cabral has seemingly mended her fractured relationship with her father, Phillip DiPietro. The two recently enjoyed a family dinner in Greece, which seems like a significant step forward.
When Danielle Cabral arrived on the RHONJ scene, she revealed that she was estranged from her brother. Their relationship became even more strained as the 39-year-old aired their family drama on season 13 of RHONJ. Danielle attempted to extend an olive branch to her brother at the end of season 13. If you recall, she sent her brother and his wife a gift for the birth of their daughter. However, the move backfired and ultimately impacted her relationship with her father.
During season 14 of RHONJ, which aired in May 2024 but was filmed in 2023, Danielle revealed that the gift she sent to her brother caused a rift between her and her father.
“My mom and I are doing great, but I stopped talking to my dad because he handled the gift situation with my brother, not in the best way,” she said during episode 2 of season 14. “I felt like in that moment — just for one moment — my father can say, ‘He’s an idiot and I’m sorry that he’s doing this to you’ But he’s never stood up for me, and it might be harsh on my part to cut ties. I just need to start protecting myself.”
Although Danielle was not on speaking terms with her father, he did keep in touch with her husband, Nate Cabral, and their kids, Valentina and Dominic.
“He still sees my kids, and he still talks to Nate,” Danielle continued in the episode. “That relationship I won’t take away from them.”
Now, more than a year later, Danielle seems to be back on good terms with her dad.
According to Danielle’s Instagram, she and Nate just so happened to be in Greece at the same time as her dad.
“Welcome to Greece! Let the adventures begin,” Danielle wrote on Instagram alongside a slideshow of photos. “We had a beautiful dinner with my father. Imagine booking two separate trips for the same exact time?!”
Danielle didn’t share any further details about what brought her and her father back together. Yet it is essential to note that a few weeks before their reunion in Greece, Danielle’s father seems to have attended her charity event in August for the Sunrise Day Camp in Staten Island.
If Danielle returns for season 15 of RHONJ, their evolving relationship will likely be captured by the cameras.
Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to return for season 15 until late 2025 or early 2026.
