DC’s Peter Safran Says Nicholas Hoult Is ‘Lex Luthor for Next Generation’

Guy Pearce (Memento), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Loki), Daniel Ings (The Gentlemen), David Morrissey (Sherwood), and Kaya Scodelario (The Gentlemen), as well as David Ajala, Art Malik, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Gitte Witt, Christopher Rygh and Pail Kaye have joined Netflix’s feature adaptation of Ruth Ware’s bestselling mystery, The Woman in Cabin 10, starring Keira Knightley (Love Actually, Bend it Like Beckham).

“The film follows a travel journalist (Knightley) who is sent to cover a story on a luxury yacht when she is woken up in the middle of the night by screams.

“Looking for the source of the trouble, she witnesses a passenger being thrown overboard in her neighboring cabin. The next day her testimony goes unnoticed as everyone in the ship is accounted for and present. What happens next sets the storyline for a nerve-wracking thriller.”

The film is directed by Simon Stone, who previously worked with Netflix on the historical drama The Dig, starring Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes and Lily James. Sister, co-founded by Elizabeth Murdoch and Jane Featherstone and led by CEO Cindy Holland, produces with Debra Hayward, and Sister’s Ilda Diffley executive producing.
