At 29 years old, actress and voice-over artist Amanda Peter has become the new owner of 3-2-1 Acting Studios, the leading acting school for children and teenagers in Los Angeles. Previously the school’s director and teacher for children, teenagers, and adults, Amanda is now expanding her horizons beyond acting. In addition to being an actress, producer, and editor, she is taking on the role of a businesswoman, leading one of the most renowned acting schools in Los Angeles.
Amanda Peter, from Recife, came to the USA alone at just 16 years old, seeking more training in acting after taking courses in Brazil. Here, she graduated in performing arts and specialized in television and voice-over. With more than a decade in the USA, Amanda has participated in various film projects, theater, TV commercials, voice-overs for over 30 films and TV series, airlines, and Netflix. Amanda also worked for our magazine, Soul Brasil, as an entertainment news presenter and reporter at events such as film festivals and music events.
Nowadays, although she still occasionally does voice-overs and acts, Amanda’s main focus is helping young people and adults achieve professional status in the industry. On this journey, Amanda discovered her passion and talent for training and mentoring aspiring actors, dedicating herself to guiding beginners as they start their acting careers. At 3-2-1 Acting Studios, Amanda prepares young actors from the age of 4 to adult actors up to 40 years old to start their careers. Amanda produces the Showcase & Acting Career Program: a unique acting program in the industry, including training with various Hollywood acting coaches, photo shoots, video recordings, all the bureaucratic part of licenses and permits for minors, resume editing, interview training, and more! The program concludes with a presentation day, where agents and talent managers from renowned establishments come to watch the actors and help them start their professional careers. Unlike other showcases in the United States, where events last only one day with one or two invited agents, Amanda’s program is famous for its distinction, including an exclusive training process and seminars over six weeks before the presentation, and career follow-up. Graduates of this acting program go on to work in television and film and have proven commercial success! Some students currently succeeding on TV include Diogo Ticoco (from the Netflix series “On My Block”), Jordan Elsass (from the CW series “Superman & Lois”), Forrest Willer (from the ABC series “Fresh Off the Boat”), and Isabella Landau (from the NBC series “This is Us”).
Due to her didactic ability and specialization, Amanda attracts students from all over the world to participate in her acting program. Recently, she had students from Thailand and Nigeria who came to Los Angeles to take classes with her. Classes are offered in-person at the studio or online via Zoom, making them accessible from anywhere! Currently, the school has students from countries such as Luxembourg, Japan, Norway, and even Brazil!
3-2-1 Acting Studios is famous for being the most recommended school by talent managers and agents, and it has been awarded as the number one acting school in Los Angeles by renowned companies such as Distinguished Teaching, Alignable, Auditions Head Quarters, and Backstage – the most famous casting and entertainment platform in the United States. Besides the awards, the school is also listed as the best acting school by renowned agencies: DDO, Clear Talent, Avalon, Eris Talent, DPN, among others! The reputation goes beyond awards and is reflected in the 5-star ratings on Google, Yelp, and Facebook. Given the many acting schools and especially being in the world’s cinema capital, recognitions like these make 3-2-1 Acting Studios a global reference in the entertainment industry. Additionally, the new CEO and owner, Amanda Peter, is recognized by agents and managers as a career leader in her field, and her opinion and advice are sought by professionals in the area. Her dedication, expertise, and innovative approach are having a profound impact on the entertainment industry.
