In a clip from her upcoming WE TV series, Tia Mowry: My Next Act, the actress revealed she is no longer “close” to Tamera while reflecting on her divorce from Cory Hardrict. In the preview, Tia shared her feelings about exploring life alone for the first time. “Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce. It’s times like this when I feel and wish that my sister and I were still close, and I could pick up the phone and call her. But that’s just not where we are right now,” she explained. Following the emotional revelation, fans expressed shock over the alleged distance between the pair, according to TOO FAB.

In response, Tia clarified her comments in an interview with US Weekly, explaining the reality of her relationship with Tamera. “This is what I was really trying to say. As we grow older, we start our own families, and naturally, our responsibilities shift. That’s all I meant by those comments,” she shared.
