Current city  Denver, CO / Nashville, TN / Columbus, OH

Really want to be in  My dream would be tending the gardens at Sting’s house in Mahón while he does yoga on the balcony. —Joe

Excited about  The fact that we love our new music enough to share it with the world is our pursuit as artists, and to now be heading out on tour after almost ten years away, to share our story, this moment in time, in some of our favorite venues, with our closest friends, is the actual dream.

Preferred format  I love listening to vinyl, but let’s be honest, I’m usually streaming something on Spotify in the morning while I do dishes. —Ben

5 Albums I Can’t Live Without:

1

Grace, Jeff Buckley

A true classic. —Ben

2

Achtung Baby, U2

I’m too young to have the connection to The Joshua Tree that many people do, so this record stands for what I love about this band. I will forever be trying to make my drums sound this good. —Ben

3

Nevermind, Nirvana

Being the youngest in my family, I was introduced to music by my older siblings. After my brother and his friends played this record, l ran outside and jumped in the snow with only my superman underwear on, I came back in and told my brother that I wanted to be in a band.  —Joe

4

Recovering the Satellites, Counting Crows

It’s 1996, I’m 12 years old and just getting serious about the guitar. By  this point the Crows were a staple on radio, but this record comes out, and it sounds serious. Intense, with darker valleys. And with some of the most melodic lead guitar lines I had ever heard—maybe still, to this day. If I had to pick some of my biggest influences on my personal playing style, I’d be hard-pressed to come up with someone more impactful than Dan Vickrey. —Dave

5

Kid A, Radiohead

I mean, everyone has one (an opinion on Radiohead, that is) and this is mine. I can vividly remember the feeling of taking the shrink wrap off this CD, putting on headphones, and… It was, by all accounts, a revelation. Still is. —Dave
