Dave Grohl Steps Out With Daughter For Shopping After Love Child Bombshell

Dave Grohl was recently seen shopping for Halloween decorations with his daughter Ophelia, marking his first public appearance since revealing he fathered a child outside his marriage to Jordyn Blum.

The rocker announced on Instagram that he plans to be a supportive parent and is focused on regaining his family’s trust.

Following the scandal, the Foo Fighters canceled their performance at the Soundside Music Festival and are reportedly taking a hiatus as Dave Grohl focuses on his family issues.

Grohl went shopping for Halloween decorations in Los Angeles with his 10-year-old daughter, Ophelia.

According to photos obtained by Page Six, the father-daughter duo was spotted leaving a Spirit Halloween store pushing a cart filled with festive items, including two large skeletons.

After completing their shopping, Grohl loaded the decorations into the back of his pickup truck before driving away.

For the shopping outing, the Foo Fighters frontman opted for a relaxed look for the outing, sporting cargo shorts, a T-shirt, a baseball cap, and black Vans. Ophelia also kept it casual in an oversized black T-shirt, jeans, and sandals.

This outing marks Grohl’s first public appearance since revealing he has a love child with a woman outside his marriage to Jordyn Blum.

Grohl and his wife, Blum, married in their Los Angeles home in 2003 and recently celebrated their 21st anniversary. They also share three children: Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia.

On September 10, Grohl posted an Instagram announcement that he had welcomed a new baby daughter outside his marriage.

He stated, “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”

The rock star continued: “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

While it’s unclear where Grohl and his wife, Blum, stand, it was revealed that the singer had already secured a divorce lawyer before he made his bombshell announcement.

Over the weekend, Grohl and the Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, but they canceled their show. Reports indicate that the band is taking a “hiatus” from performing while Grohl focuses on his family.

“Foo Fighters will no longer be appearing at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival. Please check the festival website for more information,” the band announced in an Instagram statement on Thursday.

The Foo Fighters were originally set to headline the festival’s second day on Sunday, and the band was listed among other performers, including Jack White, Greta Van Fleet, Bleachers, Norah Jones, and Teddy Swims. However, the Foo Fighters were removed from the festival’s official website by late afternoon.

A source told the US Sun on Saturday, “[Grohl] wants to be at home and focus on earning back the trust of his family. Being on the road isn’t the best thing for any of them at the moment. It feels like a hiatus is the best thing for them collectively.”

A source close to Blum told People Magazine that she has been aware of Grohl’s baby news “for a while.”

“She was shocked when she found out about the baby. Her friends are like family, and they rallied around her,” a friend of Blum shared, adding that over the years, “Dave’s flirty behavior has been a hurdle in their marriage. It’s been hurtful to Jordyn.”

While many of Grohl’s fans were taken aback by the announcement, those within the couple’s circle had some inkling of the situation.

“We keep reading over and over again how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the ‘good guy,’ the rockstar that didn’t have to do those rockstar things,” a source close to the couple explained. “And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rockstar side.”

According to a report, Blum is preparing to break her silence and may be considering a lucrative deal worth millions for a tell-all book with a division of Simon & Schuster following the humiliation caused by Grohl’s affair.

Insiders told the Daily Mail that if Blum takes up the offer, the book could provide an in-depth account of her efforts to keep their marriage intact for the sake of their three daughters.
