Oasis Bringing 2025 Reunion Tour To North America

As expected, Oasis will bring their 2025 reunion tour to five North American stadiums, beginning Aug. 24 in Toronto and concluding Sept. 12 in Mexico City. The shows will follow the first 17 previously announced, instantly sold-out dates by the famously feuding brotherly team of Noel and Liam Gallagher in their Manchester, England, hometown, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. Two gigs at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sept. 27-28 are the farthest out to be announced.

Oasis have not performed since Aug. 22, 2009 at the V Festival in Stafford, and the Gallaghers have frequently traded barbs in the press and online ever since. They’ve put their differences aside to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their iconic debut, Definitely Maybe, as well as its equally strong follow-up, 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory.

The newly announced shows will be a test of the commercial appeal outside of the U.K. and Europe for a band who were very successful abroad but never headlined North American venues larger than arenas such as New York’s Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Cage the Elephant will serve as the opening act.

Oasis’ Toronto appearance will be held at the new, 50,000-capacity Rogers Stadium, which is currently in development on the site of the decommissioned Downsview Airport Lands. “America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along,” the brothers say in tandem with today’s announcement. Click here for ticket onsale information.

Released on Aug. 29, 1994, Definitely Maybe launched Oasis as worldwide sensations and is regarded as both one of the best Britpop albums and one of the best rock albums of the 1990s. It has sold more than 8.5 million copies worldwide and features signature tracks such as “Live Forever,” “Supersonic” and “Cigarettes & Alcohol.”

Here are Oasis’ 2025 North American dates:

Aug. 24: Toronto (Rogers Stadium)Aug. 28: Chicago (Soldier Field)Aug. 31: East Rutherford, N.J. (MetLife Stadium)Sept. 6: Los Angeles (Rose Bowl)Sept. 12: Mexico City (Estadio GNP Seguro)
