Brandi Redmond showed a photo of her now-teenage daughters Brooklyn and Brinkley – eight years after The Real Housewives of Dallas premiered. Meanwhile, fans were shocked by how “grown” they are, and how much they look like Brandi.
After season 5, Bravo put RHOD on hiatus. Eventually, reports surfaced that the network wasn’t planning on bringing it back for season 6. Brandi was an original castmate, and in the early seasons her oldest daughters were little kids. The star now has four children; she and her husband, Bryan, adopted their youngest son Bruin in 2018, when the show was still going strong.
In a September 25 Instagram post, Brandi shared a photo of Brooklyn, 14, and Brinkley, who will be 13 in a few weeks.
“I have many thanksgivings but these two have made my life complete,” wrote Brandi in the caption. “If you know my family you know that Brooklyn is a leader that takes on anything and everything to make things happen — much like her dad.
“And if you know Brinkley you know she loves unconditionally and nobody is left out,” she went on. “My girls have been through more than most but they are perfectly Gods daughters and I’m so blessed they are Redmonds. Bryan and I are so blessed and proud.”
Fans then reacted to how “grown” they seem, and how much they favor their mom.
“What beauties and my how they have grown since they were on tv,” wrote one user. “May God continue to bless them and protect them.”
“They look like twins!” exclaimed another.
“Brandy your daughters look so much like you!” said a third.
“They’ve grown into beautiful versions of both of yall!” wrote a fourth.
“Wow! Beautiful daughters… I use to see them on Housewives of Dallas they were so young!! Time flies,” said a fifth.
“They have grown up so much! They are absolutely stunning just like mama!” wrote a sixth.
Although The Real Housewives of Dallas is no longer on the air, rumors have continually swirled that it may come back one day in some capacity.
