Teddi Mellencamp reveals the real reason Vicki Gunvalson doesn’t like her. She also addresses the OG of the OC, calling her “b—ch,” and explains where their drama began.
On an episode of the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, host Teddi Mellencamp opened up to her guest host, Erika Jayne, about her ongoing feud with Vicki Gunvalson.
It’s no secret that Teddi Mellencamp and Vicki Gunvalson have been feuding for years, but the source of their beef has always remained a mystery to the Bravoverse. Now, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is opening up about where their drama started while also dishing on their recent drama during an appearance on season 18 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
“[Vicki] originally started disliking me because … She called me [Tamra’s minion], of course, I mean that’s everybody’s favorite thing to say. I’m this person’s minion or that. But I think she originally started disliking me because she wanted to do a podcast with Tamra,” Teddi revealed. “But she wanted to discuss insurance and real estate because Tamra’s a real estate agent. So, when we offered Tamra the job, that’s where it all started, and she started coming for me in the press and everything started happening.”
While the 43-year-old admitted that she doesn’t “really know Vicki,” despite their long-standing beef, that didn’t prevent her from messing around with the OG of the OC on an episode of RHOC earlier this season.
Teddi confesses that she made it a point to comment that the 62-year-old was no longer an official Housewife or RHOC cast member.
“Of course, just to f–k with Vicki, [I] said the Housewives and Vicki comment. [But] she could have been a little bit nicer,” Teddi said.
While reflecting on their RHOC drama, Teddi recalled the OG of the OC calling her a “f–king b–ch.”
“I’m not upset that Vicki calls me a b–ch. It takes one to know one [and] we’ve been through this forever,” the mom of three noted.
However, Teddi joked that Vicki will have to work much harder if she genuinely wants to hurt her since she has very tough skin after spending years on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Do you know how much it takes to hurt my feelings? I’m like, ‘Do you really think you’re gonna hurt my feelings by calling me [a b–ch]?’ Granted, you could’ve hurt my feelings by just sneezing on me my first seasons of [The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills],” she explained.
While RHOC fans witnessed the tension between Teddi and Vicki during their season 18 cameo, Tamra Judge recently admitted that she didn’t see the drama between them.
“I’m actually shocked that it didn’t air, but there actually was a whole scene with me and Vicki and [Shannon Beador] and Teddi, and Vicki and Teddi made up, and everything was good, and then literally, a few weeks later, Vicki went out and said some horrible things about Teddi,” Tamra confessed on her Instagram Story. “So nothing really lasts with [Vicki].”
