Not just a great song, but the right song for a scene, perfectly underscoring the action and images.
Lots of great ones to choose from, but I'm picking Nina Simone's Sinnerman in The Thomas Crown Affair when Crown returns to the Met for the set piece finale. The dynamic tempo of the editing, the lyrics, the inter cutting among the characters … just great, breathless fun.
