Ahead of the awards being broadcast on October 15 at 8 pm ET, stars celebrated the best in hip-hop with a night of performances, awards, and tributes at Drai’s Beachlub & Nightclub.
A press release reports that it was a reimagined show format that added fresh energy to the annual celebration of the culture.

Megan Thee Stallion led this year’s nominations with a staggering twelve nods, further cementing her status as one of the hottest artists in the industry, and the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards celebrated achievements across 17 categories, selected by a prestigious voting academy of industry experts. Fans also had the chance to participate by voting for categories like DJ of the Year, Producer of the Year, and Best Hip Hop Platform.
