Who is Melissa McCarthy married to?

Melissa McCarthy is married to Ben Falcone.

According to a recent Instagram post, the Unfrosted actress and Falcone have been married for 19 years. In the post, McCarthy called Falcone her “best friend” and “fellow wig wearer.”

In a 2020 interview with People Magazine, McCarthy praised her husband, calling him “supportive” and “super smart.” She also claimed that he has a great sense of humor. She said, “He makes me gut-laugh, like crazy gut-laugh, four or five times a day. I hit the jackpot!”

What is Ben Falcone’s job?

Like Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone is an actor and comedian. He is also a director, producer, and writer.

Falcone acted in movies like Thunder Force and The Boss and directed several others, including Margie Clause and Tammy. His writing credits include Life of the Party and several episodes of The Looney Tunes Show.

Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone’s relationship history

Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone first met in Illinois during the 1990s, when she was a college freshman, and he was still in high school. They revealed this in a 2021 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

They met again in 1998 after signing up for a writing class at The Groundlings, an LA-based improv theater. In an interview on The Ellen Show in 2018, McCarthy claimed she became interested in and befriended Falcone after being impressed by his skit on an inmate who liked his roommate.

The future couple then acted together for the first time in Gilmore Girls. They then tied the knot on October 8, 2005. The couple welcomed their first and second child in 2007 and 2010, respectively. Then, in 2011, they acted in their first film together, Bridesmaids. In 2013, they launched their production company On the Day Productions, and in 2016, they worked with their daughter Vivian in the movie The Boss. Later, in 2017, Falcone published a book on fatherhood with McCarthy’s support. In subsequent years, the couple continued staying happily married and supporting each other in their respective endeavors.
