Eazy-E‘s daughter has paid homage to her late father by recreating an iconic photo to introduce her newborn son to the world.
On Monday (October 7), Henree Cherron Wright took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos of Eazy’s grandson. The photoset consisted of multiple angles of the infant laying across a miniature studio console.
She also included the original photo of her father asleep in the same position during an actual studio session.
“The moment you guys have been waiting for [emotional smiley face emoji]!,” Wright captioned the post. “Allow me to introduce to you, our Baby Boy ! Hendrix Jru Boone [blue heart emoji]”
Henree Cherron Wright, who goes by the stage name ReeMarkable, announced that she had given birth to a baby boy on what would have been Eazy-E’s 60th birthday, posting a close-up photo of the newborn’s arm and hands on Instagram.
In her caption, Henree acknowledged the serendipitous connection between Eazy-E’s milestone birthday and the arrival of her youngest son by writing: “Happy birthday Daddy! 9/7/24 this for you.”
She then paid tribute to her partner, adding: “@derrtymillionz we did it. My soul mate. We owe each other the world and we gone continue to give it to each other. I love you husband I thank you for this gift this blessing. You the one fr.
“Baby is here y’all!!! 6 pushes ! All natural . I wasn’t gone post but this was needed to be said #ripeazye #ripdoretha.”
Her post also included a photo of the late N.W.A legend, who passed away in March 1995, roughly 18 months after Henree was born.
Eazy, who was 30 at the time, died due to AIDS-induced pneumonia — an illness he had made public just weeks earlier.
Prior to his death, the gangsta rap pioneer fathered 11 children, including fellow rapper Lil Eazy-E.
