Queens Court is back with new celebrity queens and one of the stunning sovereigns is speaking to BOSSIP about being courted by men of all races.”Yes, I like white men. I love me a white man. Sorry, I enjoy them,” said the “Rebellious Soul” songstress.

As previously reported the Peacock series returned on Sunday, Oct. 6 with three new celebrity queens; LisaRaye, London “Deelishis” Charles, and K. Michelle. The trio is seen rifling through 22 potential partners in an unconventional way with help from Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete.

For K. Michelle, viewers are seeing a different side of her, one that’s vulnerable yet strong, open yet discerning as she seeks someone to be her peace amid her bustling career. Still, she admittedly had hangups about the Queens Court process.

“That was different for me. I don’t like men that would even go on TV to try and date me,” the singer admitted to BOSSIP. “That’s not my type of man that’s not my thing.”

Despite her reservations, however, she admitted to being impressed by the caliber of the men involved.

“A lot of them were very well-off, but most importantly, they were gentlemen,” she shared. “I made great friends from that show and they were really some great guys.”

K. Michelle Talks Her Queen’s Court Dating Preferences

K. Michelle has always been open to dating vanilla kings, and that’s a standout aspect of her Queens Court dating journey.

The singer told BOSSIP that her ideal man is someone who’s healed, not famous (and doesn’t want to be), God-fearing, family-driven, and presumably from the South.

“I naturally like southern men and I’m at the phase where I don’t like mean men. I like men that treat me like a princess,” she said.

What her perfect match is not, however, is a particular race.

On the show, K. Michelle is courted by two white men, and according to the “Can’t Raise A Man” singer, she could care less about detractors who take issue with it.

“I don’t be caring. They get so mad at me about things like that,” K. Michelle told BOSSIP. “Yes, I like white men. I love me a white man. Sorry, I enjoy them,” she added noting that for her, attraction knows no bounds. “You like what you like… I’m attracted to all men… I love my brothers and all of that, but I’m very much open to love.”

“I’m going to like who I like and I don’t discriminate due to color. I like me a white man with a man bun, I enjoy that,” she added with a laugh.

Speaking of the pool of suitors on the show, K. Michelle made sure to note that she wasn’t interested in competing with LisaRaye and Deelishis for the men’s affection on Queens Court.

“I’m not competitive,” said K. Michelle noting that her perspective on relationships is rooted in self-assurance. “Some women see you and what you have and they want it, and that’s human life, that happens with me a lot. My thing is, a man doesn’t know what he wants.”

“If you could like her, then couldn’t possibly like me” she added. “Once you’ve dabbled with someone else, I don’t want no parts of it. I don’t want that woman’s juices. I don’t comingle like that.”

K. Michelle Talks Her Country Music Career

While her dating life takes center stage on Queen’s Court, K. Michelle remains focused on her career, particularly in the country music genre where Black artists are having a bit of a renaissance.

“This is completely different from R&B,” the singer who sings as Puddin in the genre told BOSSIP. “If you’re in country, as a country writer or country artist, it’s about the dedication and the time and being in the city and living like that.”

With that in mind, she now spends much of her time in Nashville, writing with some of the biggest names in the industry which she loves.

“Every morning I wake up, I write with some of the biggest writers in Nashville, period.”

With the pressure to succeed, she remains committed to making “great music” and putting out an album that reflects her dedication and artistry.

“I feel like culture is rooting for me,” she told BOSSIP. “It can really do a lot for culture and just women.”
