Despite their relationship ending years ago, Kayla Nicole is still dealing with backlash over her breakup from Travis Kelce.

The social media star sat down for an interview with WNBA star Angel Reese on her Unapologetically Angel podcast, where she revealed that the hate she gets from Taylor Swift fans has changed her life.
Kelce has been dating the singer for over a year now, but still, a lot of Swifties feel the need to discuss his relationship with Kayla, comparing her to Taylor and sending her negativity online.
“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and online chaos doesn’t impact me, she told the WNBA star. “It does, even to this day. You can go to my most recent post and there will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career.”
Nicole went on to admit that she doesn’t understand where the hate comes from, alluding to Swift being at the “level of fame that attracts crazy people.”
“I haven’t done anything to warrant that backlash,” Kalya insisted.
Kelce and Nicole were in an on-again, off-again relationship from 2017 to 2022.
His relationship with Swift introduced the baller to a whole new audience, which renewed interest in his past relationship, thus resulting in completely unnecessary backlash for Kayla.
Elsewhere during her interview with Reese, Nicole shot down the longstanding rumor that her and Kelce’s relationship ended because he was cheap.
“I don’t even know why that became a thing,” she admitted. “That was never an issue in our relationship but it was definitely a rumor on the internet.”
Nicole went on to say that she and the Kansas City Chiefs star were on good terms, but she would still “probably hit him with a head nod, that’s about it” in public since anything else would make headlines.
“We’ve seen each other in public spaces, but I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation,” she explained. “That there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy so we just keep it moving.”
