Lebron James and his wife, Savannah, are still madly in love.
During the couple’s appearance in Starting 5, a new Netflix docuseries that delves into the personal lives of some of the most popular players in the NBA, LeBron, 39, and his wife of over 10 years gushed about their longtime partnership and romance.
Savannah, 38, said she’s grown to love her husband’s “crazy” spirit since saying “I do” in 2013. The couple share three beautiful children together: daughter Zhuri, and sons Bryce and Bronny.
“He wants to live in my skin, like literally, if I let him crawl in my skin, he would live there,” she chuckled in an episode of Starting 5, according to a clip obtained by The Shade Room. “Both of us are just really young at heart. I think that’s the best way to keep things fresh and new. We are two peas in a pod — he’s my bestie.”
LeBron praised his wife for standing by him through thick and thin, crediting Savannah for his success in the NBA and beyond. While the pair married in 2013, their relationship goes back much further, as the two met in high school and have been together for 21 years, according People.
“You get older and you really start to dial in on whats really important. You really understand what the true meaning of a partner is,” the Los Angeles Lakers star shared. “You really, truly understand what family really, truly means. Then your eyes, you able to see more. I wouldn’t be who I am. I wouldn’t have the career that I’ve had. I wouldn’t be who I am without her.”
Savannah added, “I’m proud of us. Keeping a sense of normalcy in such an abnormal situation is a part of doing it our way.”

Savannah and LeBron’s love story.
Savannah and LeBron have known each other since they were 16 years old in high school, quickly forming a close bond. In a 2010 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Savannah reminisced about their first date at Outback Steakhouse, sharing how much it meant to her.
“I knew he loved me when I left my leftovers from dinner in his car. I’d totally forgotten about them, and he brought them to me. I think he just wanted another excuse to come and see me,” Savannah told Harper’s Bazaar of the cute outing.
This isn’t the first time the happy couple has expressed their love for one another. In 2022, the lovebirds proudly shared their affection on Instagram to celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary. James took to his Instagram Story to give Savannah a sweet shoutout, sharing a beautiful photo taken from their Vanity Fair shoot from that year. The 4-time basketball champ captioned the picture, “Queen,” adding, “P.S. YOU SO DAMN SEXY! WOW,” along with a heart and drooling face emojis.
Savannah also honored their special day with a heartfelt tribute post, featuring an adorable photo of them toasting with friends. In the caption, she wrote, “9 years down(21), forever to go!! Cheers to us my love!!ð¥Happy Anniversary!!ð#JamesGang.”
