With both candidates engaged in a close contest, these new figures highlight the growing divisions among voters. This data offers important insights into national trends and reveals how critical battleground states are influencing the race.

Below is a detailed examination of the most recent polling results and their potential implications for both candidates as Election Day draws near.

Kamala Harris vs Donald Trump Poll Results for October 14

As of October 14, 2024, Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump by 2.9% in national polls. Harris is polling at 49.8%, while Trump stands at 46.9%, according to The Hill.

Recent national polls show a favorable trend for Harris, with YouGov/CBS News (October 9–12) placing her at 51.0% compared to Trump’s 48.0%, and RMG Research, Inc. (October 8–11) showing a similar lead of 50.0% for Harris against 47.0% for Trump.

The state polls indicate a more competitive landscape. In Arizona, Trump holds a 1.4% lead, with The New York Times/Siena College Poll (October 8–11) showing him ahead by 6 points. In Florida, Trump leads by 4.7%, with Marist College Poll (October 4–8) indicating a 4-point advantage.

Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, Harris has a slight edge of 0.7%, although Tony Fabrizio and John McLaughlin’s survey (October 7–10) places Trump ahead by 1 point. Wisconsin shows a near tie, with both candidates polling at 48.0%. In Georgia, Trump has a 1.0% lead, with recent polling showing him slightly ahead.

Other key battleground states reflect a mixed picture. In Ohio, Trump has a more substantial lead of 6.0%, according to ActiVote (October 4–8), while North Carolina shows Trump ahead by 0.7%. New Hampshire, however, leans toward Harris, with a 2.0% lead.

The contest is highly competitive in important swing states, with Harris having a slim national lead while facing considerable resistance from Trump in multiple battleground areas.
