Oftentimes, when people see Rihanna they think artist, fashion guru, and sex symbol.
The new mother of two has always had a way of bringing a photoshoot to life with her captivating gaze and body movements. Even the off-guard videos and photos of the artist show that her sex appeal is quite effortless. This leaves many of her admirers wondering how they can tap into that power, too.

In an interview with E! News, the “Needed Me” singer explained that in order to amp up your seductive aura you must first start with self. She said, “This sounds cliche, but it really starts from the inside. You’ve heard that a million times. It’s only because it’s true.”
For much of her career, Rihanna has always been thought of as a beautiful woman. In 2011, Esquire magazine named her the “Sexiest Woman Alive.” One thing she’s never been afraid of is experimenting with her looks. We’ve seen her in a pixie cut during her Good Girl Gone Bad era, this led to her rocking red hair, bobs, faux locs, braids and she’s also been leaning back into her blond hairstyles as of recent. Outside of that, she’s also had several iconic fashion moments, and at one point, she was named the “Queen of Met.”
But, Rihanna says having sex appeal has nothing to do with image. “It does not matter what you look like,” she says. “There is a presence that a woman can carry and hold when she walks into a room, being completely authentically who she is and not caring who’s looking, that is my type of woman. I want to encourage as much as possible.”
Twelve years ago, when Rihanna was in her early 20s, she had a different explanation for her sex appeal. In a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, she said, “I had to fake it till I make it. That’s what I had to do. I had to pretend that I was as comfortable. I really was not.
“I just felt like I had to fake it. I had to just go for it. In Barbados, we have a very sexual culture,” she said, “you have to overcome certain things. I’m 24 and I can do that now. Now, I can experiment and I can try certain things and I can figure myself out.”
