Jennifer Aydin fires back after Melissa Gorga claims she is the RHONJ star “most likely to call the paparazzi on herself.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is known for loving life in the public eye and putting herself “On Display” so it was quite odd when she recently claimed that co-star Jennifer Aydin was the New Jersey Housewife “most likely to call the paparazzi on herself.”
At a Real Housewives panel in Washington DC, Melissa Gorga claimed that Jennifer Aydin is the most likely to call paparazzi on herself.
Naturally, Jennifer Aydin caught wind of Melissa’s claim and fired back on social media.
“I wouldn’t even know who to call. Maybe I should ask her for their number for the next time I get my mail….or get gas. #rhonj,” Jennifer tweeted on October 13.
Longtime Bravo fans know Melissa’s comment is quite funny and hypocritical considering she is the Real Housewives of New Jersey star who is most frequently photographed in clearly staged paparazzi shots that end up splashed all over Page Six and other outlets.
In fact, Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, are frequently photographed outside their New Jersey shore home or while doing monotonous activities such as pumping gas.
If you remember back in the Summer of 2023, Melissa was photographed pumping gas while wearing a sexy rainbow monokini in the Hamptons. Her and Joe are also almost always caught by the paparazzi frolicking on the beach in the summer or while on vacation in some tropical local.
In recent years, Melissa has claimed that she “hates” doing press yet seems to do more press and attend more events than almost any other member of the RHONJ cast.
In May 2023, Melissa appeared on Mercedes Javid‘s Till the Dirt podcast, where she claimed to hate doing press so much that she put her foot down with Bravo about what press she would and won’t do.
“You know, I started to get like that with the press, even with Bravo. They know me because they don’t reach [out]. Bravo does not ask me to do press unless it’s like something legit. I’m like, don’t call me with all these little mags and this and that. I don’t wanna talk to anyone because they twist what I say. The headline is always something that I have zero desire to even discuss,” Melissa told the Shahs of Sunset alum.
“It’s always the dumbest headline I’ve ever seen. And I’m always like, I wasted my time for 20 minutes talking to that reporter for me to hate the article. It’s like, why am I doing my makeup for you?” the RHONJ star quipped.
Despite Melissa’s declaration she continues to enjoy doing loads to press for her favorite and most supportive outlets.
Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to return for season 15 until late 2025 or early 2026.
