Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for its upcoming horror movie Smile 2, which stars Naomi Scott as Skye Riley, a famous popstar, who is being terrorized by the smile demon.

The trailer also features quotes from critics who have seen the film and they are saying it’s terrifying. The quotes include, “A Terrifying Masterpiece”, “Scarier and Wilder Than The First One”, “Not For The Faint of Heart”, “Nightmare Fuel”, “The Scariest Film of the Year By a Mile”, and “F*cking Terrifying.”

I thought the first movie was ok, and I wasn’;t expecting much more from the sequel, but maybe it will actually deliver some great scares!

In the sequel: “About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events.

“Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.”

This franchise centers on an evil, unrelenting demon that drives its victims to suicide by appearing as a series of human beings with sinister smiles plastered across their faces.

The announced cast for Smile 2 also includes Kyle Gallner (Smile), Rosemarie DeWitt (The Staircase), Lukas Gage (The White Lotus), and Dylan Gelula (Dream Scenario), alongside Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead) and Miles Gutierrez-Riley (The Wilds).

Smile 2 will be helmed by returning director Parker Finn. Smile 2 will hit theaters on October 18th.
