RHOC alums Vicki Gunvalson, Gretchen Rossi, and Kelly Dodd are coming for Tamra Judge following her announcement that she is autistic.
Tamra Judge recently announced that she is on the spectrum. The longtime reality TV star revealed this news on her and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two Ts in a Pod podcast and let’s just say Bravo fans weren’t supportive of her diagnosis.
According to Tamra Judge, she learned via therapy that she is on the spectrum, which is why she has a hard time being empathetic towards others feelings.
“I am on the spectrum,” the RHOC star announced on her and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two Ts in a Pod podcast. “My biggest problem is working through trauma. Trauma that I had in my life. I have a hard time with empathy and feeling other people’s feelings,”
The 57-year-old received backlash and criticism from Bravo fans and now she’s getting called out by several of her former co-stars and friends.
On Instagram, Vicki Gunvalson called Tamra “disgusting,” claiming that she “looking for attention and sympathy” and is “making a mockery of being on the spectrum.”
“This is disgusting and shame on her. She’s looking for attention and sympathy – it’s no different than Brooks saying he had cancer for sympathy and lying to me. She needs psychological help and needs to stop making a mockery of being “on the spectrum” or having Autism. #faketears #gethelp #rhoc #bravotv,” the OG of the OC wrote.
Gretchen Rossi shared similar sentiments, calling Tamra’s announcement an “insult” to the autism community and nothing more than attempt to “gain sympathy from an audience that hates her right now.”
The RHOC alum commented, “It’s a major insult, and you and I both know it’s her way of trying to gain sympathy from an audience that hates her right now. She is “setting up” her next year storyline with this BS. She is using this as an excuse for all her horrible behavior over the years (which includes naked wasted) & does this while crying crocodile tears. So let’s get this straight, she has no empathy for others, but all of a sudden can have empathy for herself in that moment! What a gross and failed attempt to try and excuse her behavior.”
On the other hand, Kelly Dodd, went in hard on Tamra, calling her a ” sociopathic liar” and insisting that Bravo needs to fire her.
Kelly ranted:
“I’m getting tons of DMs. I’m getting tons of text messages from people talking about Tamara Judge, being on the spectrum. Um, if I were Bravo, I would fire her right away. Uh, she’s a 1099 employee. She could come back and say, I’m a protected class, um, but, you know, the Lena McSweeney bullshit.
I think it’s ridiculous. Tamara Judge is 60 years old and all of a sudden, now she’s coming out with with being on the spectrum. She’s a sociopath liar. I don’t I don’t get it. Can someone can someone help me explain to me? Is that her defense now for her bad behavior? Those those ratings, people are sick of Tamara Judge. I know Bravo and Evolution loves her. They love her. But you’re 60 years old and all of a sudden now, you had somebody diagnose you as being on the spectrum. What a crock of bullshit. These psychiatrists, you can get any doctor to say any kind of bullshit you want. Okay? After one appointment. Okay, I’m a genius. I’m MENSA now Like how stupid is she? I mean, on the spectrum? No. You’re a sociopath liar. You can get a doctor to say and do anything nowadays. It’s pathetic, really. Now I wanna see what doctor she went to because I don’t believe in a word she says. I thought she probably got some RN saying that it was a nurse practitioner doctor’s note bullshit that probably doesn’t even have a PhD saying that she’s on the spectrum. Where’s the doctor’s note? I wanna see it because I don’t believe a one word Tamara Judge says. She’s a liar.”
