Katie Maloney confirmed she has a new boyfriend on the latest episode of her podcast with Dayna Kathan — and she’s been leaving social media clues about who he may be.
Just over two years after finalizing her divorce from Tom Schwartz, 42, the 37-year-old Vanderpump Rules star revealed that she’s “in love” as she shared a few details about her mystery man and looked back on a recent trip she took to see him.
“I have a boyfriend,” Katie confirmed on Disrespectfully on October 16 — which just so happened to be Tom’s birthday. “Yeah, I’m in love. Katie’s in love. I am. I’m really happy.”
According to Katie, she went to see her beau earlier this week.
“I went to go see my boyfriend. He has to travel for work, so I went to go meet up with him and hang out with him and spend some time, and it was really amazing cause I hadn’t seen him in a few weeks,” she explained. “Just being able to, like, spend some quality time and just be around him is just, like, really necessary and really nice. I had a really good time.”
Although Katie didn’t confirm where or how she met her new boyfriend, or how long they’d been dating, she teased that “in time,” she will “say more” about the romance.
Despite not sharing much, Katie did gush over her boyfriend, saying he’s “the most wonderful person [she’d] ever met.”
“He just makes me feel really special and he’s really special. And I’m just really, really happy … That’s my big life update, everybody,” she stated.
While Katie is keeping her man’s name a secret for now, she and Sleeping With Sirens’ guitarist Nick Martin have been active on one another’s Instagram pages, often leaving flirty comments on posts, since late 2023.
Earlier this month, after Katie posted a provocative pic on her page, Nick reacted with an out-of-breath GIF.
Then, on Sunday, after Nick shared a series of band pics, Katie responded with a black heart emoji.
After splitting from Tom in March 2022, Katie enjoyed a short-lived relationship with actor Satchel Clendenin.
Vanderpump Rules season 12 is expected to begin filming sometime this fall.
