Jim Bellino is shutting down a recent report suggesting that he’s embarked on a new romance with fellow ex-Bravolebrity Elizabeth Lyn Vargas.
On Thursday, hours after it was alleged that he and Elizabeth, 49, had met through one of Elizabeth’s podcast co-hosts and bonded over their love of golfing, the 62-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, who was previously married to Alexis Bellino, 47, took to social media to set the record straight.
“No, we are not dating end of conversation,” Jim wrote in an Instagram Story shared on October 17, along with a snippet of a TMZ article, which included a cozy pic of him and Elizabeth at a restaurant.
Jim also shared a joint post with The Sarah Fraser Show.
“Fake news!” the podcast host declared. “Jimmy Bellino is not dating Elizabeth Vargas, also formerly of Bravo. I’ve just messaged with Jimmy B. He says it is completely untrue … Jimmy confirmed over message to me that this is a fake rumor.”
Further shutting down the romance rumors, Jim added a comment to the joint post.
“Facts Elizabeth Vargas and I are not dating,” he declared.
As RHOC fans may have seen, TMZ alleged earlier this week that “sparks [were] flying” between Jim and Elizabeth — and that they had looked like a happy couple during a recent dinner date.
In recent weeks, after his past lawsuit against Tamra Judge, 57, and Shannon Beador, 60, was mentioned on the show, Jim has been vocal about topics pertaining to the series.
Most recently, he weighed in on the lawsuit John Janssen, who is now engaged to Alexis, filed against his former girlfriend, Shannon, claiming she owed him $75,000 for a facelift.
“What I found disturbing for me, personally, and I don’t know if John’s been through a lawsuit before, but if somebody offers you the amount of money that you’re asking for and all they want is for a non-disparagement and you don’t agree with that, I think that’s pretty short-sighted on John’s part,” Jim admitted on the October 15 episode of The Sarah Fraser Show.
