While multiple moments convincingly caused conjecture about conflict, there’s no bad blood here. On Friday, a fan spotted the fashionistas in a friendly conversation. According to Rolling Out, Naomi and Rihanna casually chatted at an event with the host, Michéle Lamy, who is also married to designer Rick Owens.

That looked like a different energy than when fans assumed Rihanna snubbed Naomi Campbell and Law Roach at a NYFW event last month. The moment was so brief and slight, but sparked speculation with the video going viral online.
Another Viral Video Added Fuel To The Fire, But Naomi Quickly Cooled Things Off

Shortly after the runway run-in, Naomi and Law added fuel to the fire with a very shady, “very demure” video about someone with their “ta-tas” out. They never named Rihanna, but if the cleavage fits, it doesn’t take much for social media to fill in the busty blanks.
“We don’t go to the shows like other girls,” Law joked. “We don’t come with our tatas out or our chichis out. Very demure.”
If there was real beef between Rihanna and Naomi, it would’ve blown up by now. They’ve both calmed down dramatically over the years, but their shady comebacks have gone viral and gone down in history. If the NYFW awkwardness is the worst of it, then it’s no surprise that it was overblown from the start.
When the new video surfaced from Shanghai, fans joked that they had to stage the talk for rumor control.
As BOSSIP previously reported, Naomi already addressed the alleged animosity by showing solidarity with Rihanna. After all, they have far more in common than they could ever have to hate on. “I’m not about to let the world pitch two Black women against each other. We are two women with two children, mothers,” the supermodel mama said. Maybe they can even get a posh playdate planned for their celebrity seeds one day.
The “Lift Me Up” singer also seems too focused on her happiness with A$AP Rocky and their beautiful baby boys for any drama these days. The Fenty founder is busy taking over fashion and cosmetics.
