ComingSoon is excited to debut the track “Smilers” from the Smile 2 soundtrack by Cristobal Tapia de Veer. Lakeshore Records will release Smile 2 — Music from the Motion Picture on October 25. It is now available to pre-save.
Tapia de Veer is a three-time Emmy and BAFTA-winning composer. He’s best known for his work on Utopia, Black Mirror, and The White Lotus. The latter won him two Primetime Emmy awards for the first season, one for the main title music and another for the series’ score. Tapia de Veer also scored 2022’s Smile before returning for the sequel, which is now playing in theaters.

“About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins to experience increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. ComingSoon gave Smile 2 a positive review, claiming that it “builds on the insanity of the first film by being an intense, gory sequel done right.” The review also praised star Naomi Scott’s performance, which was said to be “nothing short of mesmerizing.” In total, it was hailed as “one of the finest horror movies of 2024.”
