Celebrity Hairstylist Claims Jennifer Lopez Viewed Him As ‘Trash’

During a new interview, the hairstylist, Emanuel Miller, recounted moments when Hathaway and Lopez seemingly treated him terribly.

Anne Hathaway has since responded to Miller’s claims, stating that she remembered their encounter very differently.

Celebrity hairstylist Miller said on this week’s episode of the “What It Was Like” podcast that he had “one of his worst experiences” while working with Hathaway.

“Anne never acknowledged me as a person. For four and a half months, she treated me like a servant,” Miller said, per Page Six.

According to the beauty specialist, not once did the “Princess Diaries” star ask him about his family during the period he worked with her.

“I was doing [Anne’s] hair personally, just one on one, I was just doing her hair,” Miller recalled. “She never said, ‘Your daughter. Do you have other children?’ or ‘How long have you been married?’ There was never any personal conversation.”

Miller further noted that other Hollywood stars, like Johnny Depp and Cate Blanchet, made friendly conversations with him while he worked for them, but “Anne Hathaway never did that.”

Responding to Miller’s shocking remarks, a rep for Hathaway shared a statement with the news outlet, stating, “It’s unfortunate to hear that Manny’s memory of our time together differed so dramatically from mine.”

She added, “I continue to wish him nothing but the best.”

Hathaway was not the only Hollywood star called out by Miller, as he also branded Lopez as one of the “worst” stars he has ever worked with.

The celebrity hairstylist recalled a moment when the singer caused “panic” during an appearance on the set of an unknown talk show.

“All [of a] sudden, we were told the next guest is on her way, It’s Jennifer Lopez,” he shared of the moment.

According to Page Six, Miller said he and other workers were told to “clear the room,” and “suddenly there was an instant panic.”

“I’ve been doing a lot of talk shows in the green room with a lot of actors, and I’ve never had that experience,” Miller stated.

Continuing his story, the hairstylist claimed he was on his way out of the room that was being cleared for Lopez when he remembered that he had left his overcoat behind, which made him go back to collect it.

“So I went back into the room to get my overcoat that was hanging over a chair, and when I turned around, Jennifer walked into the room,” Miller recalled.

He said he warmly greeted the singer and commented about how they worked together on her 2005 romance film, “Monster in Law.”

Miller added, “Jennifer just looked at me, just gave me a blank stare, and then looked away to her bodyguards as if [to say] you were told to get this trash and clear the room. Why isn’t this room cleared?”

The hairstylist said that Lopez’s alleged inability to properly converse with him despite working with her in the past left him stunned.

The hairstylist revealed that he worked with Lively for her 2011 film, “Hick,” when the actress invited his film crew for lunch but seemingly failed to feed any of them, despite spending time baking pastries and other items.

“Is it possible that she was just feeling, I don’t know, anxious?” the podcast host asked Miller about the incident. “Did you witness maybe some rampant anxiety in the context of a dinner party where she didn’t really know anyone?”

He replied, “That’s very kind of you to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I didn’t see her speak to anybody.”

Miller further claimed that “even her family, her mother, and her brother seemed to be afraid of her. You don’t tell Blake, ‘Blake, we have all these people here; we need to feed them.'”

Miller’s interview, where he shared his encounters with various Hollywood stars, has since gone viral on TikTok, with fans having varying reactions to his stories.

One person wrote about his remarks on Lopez, “It is so sad to hear successful people behave like this instead of sharing and celebrating their success with everyone.”

Another person defended Lopez’s reaction, writing, “She didn’t want to talk to anybody. Maybe she just wanted to relax and chill. That’s not a bad thing.”

A third individual commented, “Lol, I don’t know who this man is, but I am living for him exposing the mean girls.”
