After over 30,000 people gathered in Houston, Texas to see Beyoncé publicly endorse Kamala Harris on Friday evening (October 25), Donald Trump and his campaign crew are feeling a little salty and have now accused VP Harris of intentionally misleading voters and “lying to build a crowd” at her latest rally.
While speaking at his own rally in Traverse City, Michigan, for which he showed up almost 3 hours late, Trump opened his speech by stating, “Thank you very much and a very big hello to Michigan, which we’re leading in by the way. I’m thrilled to be back at this incredible state with thousands of proud, hard-working Americans. Patriots, which is what you are.”

He continued, “You know, last night, my opponent had one of these and they bussed in people. But, you know, they got Beyoncé. You know Beyoncé. So, Beyoncé went up and spoke for a couple of minutes and then left, and the place went crazy. They booed the hell out of everybody. They thought she was going to perform. Now, I would have no interest in that.”
Trump continued to blast, “What happened was my opponent got up and started speaking, and they booed the hell out of her. It’s crazy. So, they have to use people to get people to come, and then they send buses. We don’t send buses. Everybody comes. We’re just going to make America great again. It’s very simple. I thought I’d tell you that story because you’ll never hear it from the fakes. They don’t talk about it. They wouldn’t tell you stories like that.”

Before Beyoncé hit the stage at Kamala Harris’ Houston rally, where she was also joined by her mother Tina Knowles and Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland, several media outlets, like CNN and MSNBC, promoted the singer’s appearance at the rally. MSNBC even reported that Beyoncé would not only be joining VP Kamala Harris’ campaign at the stop in her hometown but that she would be performing as well. The outlet stated that three sources told them that Bey “will appear with VP Harris in Houston, Texas, and the source says Beyoncé will perform.”
While Beyoncé did in fact appear at the rally, she did not perform, but she did give an electrifying and motivational speech to Americans. Also reacting to the lack of a musical performance from Beyoncé was Donald Trump’s senior adviser Tim Murtaugh. He jumped on X (formerly Twitter), and tweeted, “They lied to build a crowd.”
Reacting to an MSNBC news clip promoting Beyoncé’s appearance at Kamala Harris Houston rally, Murtaugh wholly wrote, “MSNBC treated it as breaking news when the Harris campaign announced that Beyoncé would appear AND PERFORM at a rally in Texas. The pop star did appear but only spoke and did not sing. THEY LIED TO BUILD A CROWD‼️”
