Emo lovers will rejoice anew at the 2025 incarnation of the When We Were Young festival, which will descend on Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Oct. 18. The lineup will feature a one-off performance from Panic! At The Disco, who broke up in 2023, comprised of their 2005 album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out played in full. Blink-182 will also headline.

Weezer, Avril Lavigne, the Offspring, the Used, All Time Low, Knocked Loose, Never Shout Never, the Cab, the Rocket Summer, Jack’s Mannequin, Bad Religion, the Gaslight Anthem, Taking Back Sunday and the Maine round out the bill. Presale tickets will be available starting Friday (Nov. 1).

My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, Thursday and Dashboard Confessional were among the 50 acts performing classic albums in their entirety at the just-wrapped 2024 edition of When We Were Young.

* Oasis reunion tour promoters Live Nation and SJM are canceling more than 50,000 tickets to the band’s 2025 U.K. reunion shows that have wound up on resale sites, according to the BBC. All of those seats will be made available anew through Ticketmaster. Oasis had warned fans during the original summer onsale that tickets could only be obtained through Ticketmaster and authorized resale partner Twickets.

“These terms and conditions were successfully put in place to take action against secondary ticketing companies reselling tickets for huge profit,” the company said. “Only four percent of tickets have ended up on resale sites. Some major tours can see up to 20 percent of tickets appearing via the major unauthorized secondary platforms. All parties involved with the tour continue to urge fans not to purchase tickets from unauthorized websites, as some of these may be fraudulent and others subject to cancellation.”

* Pixies may have just released a new album, The Night the Zombies Came, but they’ll be looking backward on a summer 2025 tour, during which they’ll play two nights in each city. The first will feature complete performances of their 1990 album Bossanova and its 1991 follow-up, Trompe Le Monde, while the next will comprise what’s dubbed a “Classic Pixies set.” Kurt Vile & the Violators will open. Dates begin June 13 in Las Vegas and conclude Aug. 1 in St. Paul, Mn.

* Following their first three live shows in Los Angeles, New York and London this month, Stephen Malkmus, Matt Sweeney, Jim White and Emmett Kelly‘s the Hard Quartet have announced their maiden proper tour. The 2025 outing starts Jan. 17 in Brisbane, Australia, with the North American portion getting underway March 21 in Nashville and wrapping May 9 in Seattle.

* Warren Haynes and Dave Matthews Band have joined forces for SOULSHINE, a Hurricanes Helene and Milton benefit concert on Nov. 24 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Goose, Phish‘s Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, Joe Russo, Trombone Shorty and Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks of Tedeschi Trucks Band.

Proceeds will benefit the SOULSHINE Concert Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity’s 2024 Hurricane Recovery fund and nonprofits in hard-hit areas of North Carolina and Florida.

“I’m thrilled to partner with my good friends in Dave Matthews Band and so many other musician friends to bring SOULSHINE to the iconic Madison Square Garden and help raise money for all those affected by both hurricanes throughout North Carolina and Florida,” says Haynes, who is a native of Asheville, N.C. “My heart is with you all and we look forward to creating a really special night.”
