Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery made his MCU debut in 2013’s Iron Man 3. Initially, the character was believed to be the Mandarin; however, the film later reveals that Trevor is an actor who was hired to portray the aforementioned villain.

Kingsley then reprised the role in the 2014 one-shot titled All Hail the King before he took on a supporting role in 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

It was previously announced that Trevor would be featured in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Wonder Man series. Marvel has now offered fans a first look at the show in a newly released video teasing some of their upcoming Disney+ projects.

What else do we know about Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man?

Created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, Wonder Man will see Yahya Abdul-Mateen II play the titular superhero, also known as Simon Williams. The cast also includes Demetrius Grosse, Lauren Glazier, and Byron Bowers.

Plot details for Wonder Man remain under wraps at this time. The series will consist of ten episodes.

“We have a show coming up that we’ve talked very little about called Wonder Man, that I won’t talk about much today either except to say it’s extremely different,” Kevin Feige previously said of the series on The Official Marvel Podcast, via GamesRadar. “It’s very exciting to be a part of a company of 25 years or more, and a company that’s been around for 85 years, nestled [within] the Walt Disney Company, that’s been around for 100 years, and still being able to try new things, to take characters and stories to new places. That’s what’s exciting to me.”

Wonder Man will premiere on Disney+ in December 2025.
