Tom Brady Was Reportedly Stung By Ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s Pregnancy News

According to a new report, the NFL star is “stung” by the news and struggling to come to terms with it.

Following her divorce from Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen was plagued by cheating rumors, which she has denied, calling them “lies.”

The former quarterback is reportedly reeling from the news that his supermodel ex-wife Bündchen has taken in and is expecting her first child with her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend.

According to the Daily Mail, a source shared that Brady was “stung” and “upset” by the news, found it to be “a hard pill to swallow,” and needs more time to process it.

“Finding out Gisele was pregnant stung,” the insider told the news outlet. “Tom had to get out his feelings about it, and he did it in his own time.”

The source went further to note that while the retired athlete tried all he could to keep his cards to his chest, those close to him could see that he was evidently unhappy with the news.

“There’s not a lot of people who see the Tom behind closed doors, but those that do could see he was upset,” the insider continued. “It was a hard pill to swallow. It was never something he ever thought was going to happen.”

“But she is still the mother of two of his children, so he wants her to be OK. He has to move on and with her pregnant, she has definitely moved on, so he can’t be upset about it anymore,” they added. “It is out of his control, out of his hands. He is not letting it get to him anymore.”

The insider went further to share that Brady is preparing to accept that Valente would now be part of his life, especially as his two children with the supermodel, Benjamin and Vivian, have grown closer to the jiu-jitsu trainer.

According to the Daily Mail, Brady is also going to accept his son and daughter’s new step-sibling, the same way Bündchen welcomed his eldest son Jack, whom he shares with his ex-partner Bridget Moynahan.

“Back in the day when they started to fall in love, she accepted and loved his son that he already had, so he is going to give the same respect to her future child,” the source noted. “At the end of the day, everyone is still family.”

Bündchen reportedly broke the news of her baby directly to her ex-husband after telling her children because she wanted him to hear it from her first.

Although the pregnancy is said to be “unexpected,” the 44-year-old beauty queen is “happy” to give Valente the family she knows he has always wanted, as sources claim they may soon be tying the knot.

“Gisele and Joaquim were not planning to have a child together,” the insider said. “This was unexpected. Joaquim has always wanted a family, so she is happy to be able to give this to him.”

“She knew that he would be a great father when her kids started taking classes with him. He is patient, playful, and so understanding,” they explained.

The source further noted that Brady and Bündchen ‘s kids are excited about the pregnancy, adding that they already see a “father figure” in Valente, who has been living with their mother in Miami.

“Gisele’s kids are absolutely thrilled by this,” they said. “Joaquim has been a huge part of both of their lives since 2021 when she started including Jiu Jitsu as part of their homeschooling.”

“They love him and look to him as a father figure,” the insider added. “They are starting a family of their own now and a wedding is going to happen in the future.”

A source recently told People Magazine that the former Victoria Secret’s angel is “excited” at welcoming her third child, her first with Valente, and is preparing to deliver at home.

They explained that she’s not in a rush to discover the gender of her new child and would instead wait until delivery to find out herself, adding that she’s several months along already with an expected due date in February.

“Gisele’s very happy in Miami,” the source shared. “She enjoys her life there. Everyone’s thriving.”

The insider went on to note that Bündchen feels “very lucky” to have met Valente, who started off initially as her jiu-jitsu instructor before confirming their romance in March 2024, as the supermodel gushed about their “transparent” affection for each other.

“They started out as friends but have been seriously dating for over a year,” the source continued. “She’s excited about the baby and feels good. She’s several months along and planning a home birth.”
