Artifact: The Bass Music Innovator Taking on the World of EDM

Electronic dance music (EDM) has existed since the 1970s, despite many believing that the musical genre manifested much later. Despite its perceived newness, EDM showcases the timeless tunes that artists produce within the category. In the early 2000s, dubstep originated near South London, United Kingdom, supplementing the decades-old dance genre that clubgoers had grown to adore.

Multiple EDM subgenres hold global prominence today, with a seemingly endless pool of artists hoping to stand out as they extend their hard-hitting electronic sounds. Jake Davies, artistically known as Artifact, carves out his place in the EDM community with sonically pleasing, bass-heavy pieces that EDM enjoyers can’t ignore. As he continues to create, his international exposure only grows.

On the EDM scene, Artifact boasts his dynamic presence to an eager audience. Although his rise to relevance began in Australia, where he birthed his unique sound, he continues to garner international listeners from various parts of the world. The Sydney-based melody maker is more than just another name working within the EDM genre; he also plays a vital role in transforming bass music.

Upon working under the influential trap and dubstep-forward label Subsidia, Artifiact’s previously released tracks, “You and I” and “Samurai Spirit,” display his musical forte for constructing high-power pieces with emotional reverberance. After spending time with Subsidia, he expanded his reach with supplemental releases under well-recognized labels like Riddim Network and Buygore.

As the EDM artist prepares for performances in Canada and Mexico, his work thus far further secures his status as a worthy contributor acknowledged by EDM lovers worldwide.

Artifact’s credibility within the EDM community prevails with each musical release. In his unconventional approach to the genre, he blends various styles of music as he crafts his novel projects. Following his previous hits, the stalwart EDM enthusiast aims to set himself apart from his tuneful peers.

EDM can be regarded as one of the more competitive genres in music. It presents massive festivals worldwide that draw millions of guests annually.

Additionally, dubstep and EDM pose as more complex categories under which artists hope to differentiate themselves. Despite these common challenges, Artifact’s impact on EDM music remains profound. Cultivating his loyal fan base in Australia, his bass-heavy artistry continues to inspire global listeners with a staunch refusal to be boxed in.

Demonstrating his dedication to innovation, Artifact possesses an intense desire to bring something new to the table with every release. Dropping his latest single, “Just Can’t Get Enough,” he reimagines the classic hit from the world-renowned electronic musical group “Black Eyed Peas.”

Promising to take listeners on a euphonious adventure, the EDM artisan combines high-pitched vocals from the original piece with a booming bass. The track intends to take you on a ride, offering a fresh, exhilarating perspective without sacrificing the essence of the original hit.

Reflecting on his accomplishments, Artifact inspires his audience and fellow artists with his individualistic approach to the EDM genre. The self-taught music maker hopes to continue his rise while maintaining his differentiation within the industry. As he works on his next projects, the EDM elite keeps his attention to detail in his artistry’s foreground.

If you appreciate EDM as much as Artifact, then his eccentric style and distinctive point of view may be meritorious music to your ears.
