Rita Ora Told Sheer Dress Looks ‘Cheap’ While ‘Barely Dressed’

Rita Ora was quickly frowned upon as she braved a totally sheer dress for a red carpet appearance last year. In November 2023, the 33-year-old rocked up to the British Vogue’s Forces For Change party in London, turning heads with her brazen display while going braless. Displaying her incredible figure as she rocked an unusual dress with a collar rising up into a face mask, Rita had fans critiquing her fashion choice, with users on The Daily Mail dubbing it “cheap.” While Rita just about stayed safe in her risky look, a popular comment did dub her “barely dressed.”

Protecting her modesty via only floral-like embellishments in black, Rita showed off plenty of chest, just about missing a nipple display while dolling herself up in heels.

Rocking gauze fabrics that clung to her every curve, Rita let her dress rise to halfway up her face thanks to unusual structuring, completing her look with a clutch purse in silver, plus strappy black shoes. Wearing her hair tied back, the songstress stayed glam with a full face of makeup, but nobody in the comments was talking about her cosmetics.

“What’s Rita Ora wearing? Surely someone in her life should be honest with her..,” one fan said, gaining over 500 likes. Another called her “barely dressed.” A third, meanwhile, noted that Rita had attended the party alongside the likes of Jourdan Dunn and Maya Jama.

“These women that are going around naked are trying so hard to outdo each other with the shock effect. What they don’t realize is that the women that are dressing classy but sexy are winning hands down,” the fan said. Flashing her washboard abs in this plunging brown bikini in July Rita Ora gained plenty of fan love, also earning a like from singer Jennifer Lopez. The Instagram selfie marked the star’s travels in Italy.

Rita Ora once again channeled her love of the sheer trend for this year’s Met Gala, wearing a tight nude dress and open fur stole, although she did wear a protective layer beneath her gown.
