The Los Angeles Dodgers might be celebrating their 2024 World Series win with more than just a parade.
Two strip clubs in the greater L.A. area — 4Play The Gentlemen’s Club and Plan B — are offering the players VIP access for life. The clubs’ owner spoke to TMZ on Friday, November 1, about the MLB stars’ all access to his establishments.
“Any athlete, staff member, or fan showing their Dodger pride by wearing team colors or presenting proof of working with the Dodgers” are getting a deal as long as the “L.A. Blue Party” is going on at the clubs.
The owner also told the publication that all Dodgers players will get “an exclusive Black VIP card” allowing them free admission and VIP booth seating.
“[Players get] their admission covered, their first drink on us, and dinner on the house!” he continued. “This is our way of saying thank you to everyone who’s passionate about supporting L.A. and bringing that championship energy!”
The Dodgers beat the New York Yankees in game 5 of the World Series on Wednesday, October 30. The Yankees fumbled a 5-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning and the Dodgers were quick to take full advantage. The team’s championship win marks their eighth World Series championship in franchise history. (The Dodgers last won the World Series in 2020 after defeating the Tampa Bay Rays.)
“We’re obviously resilient, but there’s so much love in this clubhouse that won this game today,” Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts told reporters after their Wednesday, October 30 win. “That’s what it was. It was love. It was grit. It was just a beautiful thing. I’m just proud of us, and I’m just happy for us.”
Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman was named the World Series MVP following his record-breaking five-game performance.. Freeman, 35, drove in a total of 12 runs during his 2024 World Series appearance to help his team win.
“This is everything. I’m telling you; I wouldn’t be here without the support of everyone in [Dodgers] shirts tonight,” Freeman told reporters after the game, pointing to the World Series trophy. “That’s what it’s about!”
The win came as Freeman has been battling a rough year. The MLB star’s 3-year-old son Max was hospitalized in July after he was unable to stand or walk. The toddler was eventually diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.
“Every spring training, this is our goal,” Freeman continued on Wednesday. “And for it to come true, with this group of guys, I can’t have asked for a better year. Holy cow.”
