On Thursday, October 31, the “On The Floor” singer delivered a passionate endorsement for Kamala Harris at a Las Vegas rally, criticizing Donald Trump for hosting an event at Madison Square Garden earlier in the week, where speakers made racist jokes and sexist remarks.
After the rally, Kamala Harris and Jennifer Lopez joined forces to record a video encouraging people to participate in the voting process.

During the New York rally, Hinchcliffe described Puerto Rico as a floating island of garbage, a statement that sparked widespread criticism. Lopez responded, calling the comment “very offensive” and noting that such remarks would be distasteful to people everywhere.
“It wasn’t just Puerto Ricans who were offended that day; it was every Latino in this country,” Lopez said of the remark at the rally. “It was humanity and anyone of decent character.”

She continued, “And elections are about choosing leaders who support that, not one who stands in the way.”
