Kiss Bang, the upstart duo of lead singer Kaya Stewart and guitarist/producer Max Mercier, is the latest addition to the growing SPIN Records roster. Equally influenced by rock and pop, Kiss Bang explodes with youthful energy, while channelling the nuances of rock’s rich heritage.
Kiss Bang’s latest single, “Drag”, is a solid dose of alt pop angst, with Stewart’s urgent, wide-ranging vocals joining Mercier’s furiously sophisticated wall of guitars. The video for the track is a DIY masterclass, capturing the inherent push and pull of falling in love.
